We all hear about every automaker doing its part to bring us self-driving, autonomous vehicles to market. The testing is currently underway, and we really are as close as we've ever been, so soon, it will be a reality to those in Brewton, AL. Ford is busy at work testing every scenario it can, and that includes having a vehicle drive truly in the dark.

Obviously, we all use headlights when we drive at night to help us see. Similarly, cameras that aid in self-driving do the same thing, but Ford is using its LiDAR technology to instead survey the ground and make decisions based on that, without light, so a vehicle like the Focus would be able to drive in complete night conditions. It's cool to see it in action, and it's just another thing that Ford will master in time for us to enjoy a self-driving vehicle down the road.

To learn more about our current lineup, however, feel free to stop in and see us today at Jim Peach Motors Inc. Our team would be happy to answer any questions you might have and arrange a test drive today.
